This is my first read of your work. Your storytelling is remarkable. You make it look simple and that is the hardest thing to do. The sparse dialogue was well-placed. I look forward to reading more. Thanks for posting.

Wow, James Ron! That is quite a story! What an unexpected ending. I am curious about your own connection to this story. It is an unusual piece for you. How did you come about finding it?

Yes, it is a bit different for me. My only connection to the story is that I also came upon the Amargosa Opera House while driving around Death Valley. The story started with the idea of Jeanne Belle arriving in NO to try to join the dancing troupe and the story took the direction it did. Thank you, Sharron!

Wonderful story! It is rare to be able to live out your dreams like this. Being at the right place at the right time, is fortunate. Recognizing the opportunity, and acting on it, that is the gift. The talent.

Hi, Sharon.Yes, I can look back at opportunities I've had and can only wonder what might have come if I'd followed up on a few of them.We can get in our own way. Sometimes we are fortunate that we didn't follow up. Thank you!
