James, your running is next level for sure. As an undeveloped teenager , I got lost one practice and ran maybe 10-15. ( felt like 20!) 100 miles would require a search party! Solid tips, though, for any exertion like that. Have pushed into that cramp zone with bicycling. Feedback from your body is pretty effective! Enjoyed the read and will pass on those tips!!

As Indiana Jones once remarked, " It's not the years, it's the mileage!" 🏃‍♀️

Hey, Ron! - " It's not the years, it's the mileage!" 🏃‍♀️ : ) It is something that most anyone can do - it's a matter of working up to the distance slowly. Running was fun but I succumbed to the bad habit of too much running and not enough recovering. I would think it is the same bicycling. Thank you very much for reading!

100 miles? Even at the height of my youthful fitness, I never would have considered trying such a thing. How long does this take? It must be 20-24 hours? Kudos, my friend.

Hi, Jim! My best time was just over 20 hours on a flat loop. Hills and mountain races are much different. Elites do the flats in 14-15 hours and even on trail runs, they are amazing.
