He sees the future but no Janine, that's my take. Tough subject, James. Well done!

Such an interesting take, James Ron. It's always the dig, are you for real and maybe how did you get here, when you see the homeless. I'm with Jim; I don't know what he's seeing, but I have a bad feeling!

Hi, just mud! I'm going to have to look again at Steve to see if I can feel what you and Jim are feeling. : ) Thanks for commenting!

It depends maybe if you're optimist or not so much. You didn't really paint it one way or the other. You got us hangin!

The path of least resistance is rarely the best one.

I don't know if it's intentional, but it's an interesting contrast between how Steve sees himself, and how he thinks Janine will see him. Will she like the man he really is?

Hello R.I. Yes he went down the slippery slope. Steve thinks he can forgive himself, and not forget, but does Janine see enough good in him to forgive him and continue.their relationship? Thanks for writing!

Crazy and well told guilt and love of free money except for your pride but who needs that I guess when you got free money or something like that, but although back when it was called begging instead of panhandling because after all what pan(?) are you actually handling here, we did it on the streets of L.A. just for fun, but as kids, and we even got a few quarters in between the hoots and the hollers, but only for fun (I said that) and I wouldn't be at all able these days, I'd probably go the old fashioned route of plain crime if it came to that. Thanks, James!

Hi Victor. thank you! I'm glad I've not yet been in such a situation, having to choose between bad choices. Must produce great inner turmoil.
