Not me. I open every survey with zest and fill it out with much enthusiasm knowing that my words will travel across fiber optics to the desks of interns who in between their Facebook and TikTock sessions will carefully and most lovingly discard my opinion into the delete bin.

Or something like that.

Fun article, James!

Fun slice of life here, James! I completely agree with you regarding those surveys, too. So annoying! I delete them without opening. 😄

James Ron--I'm gonna see if my hmo will pay for a space heater in my shed! That looks like fun! Great conversations to overhear and fun post. Thank you man.

That a good idea. My shed gets hot enough in the summer. A heater could probably bring it up to 175º. Doubt it would work in winter though . Thank you, jm!

Interesting! It's always fun to overhear and chime in when we momentarily find ourselves sitting around with random strangers in some place like a sauna or airport cafe. Would be fun to travel around and put together a book of such snippets. Maybe one day...

Thanks for the addition to the HankStory. And for the schvitz! You are running cool and hot today, James Ron. I envy you the sauna facility right there at home.Keep up the good work.

Love these "snippets from the sauna" Conversations among strangers are fascinating.

Also, I can identify with losing touch with sports. Like you, I played baseball from youth through high school and was a huge Yankees fan. This year, I was only vaguely aware that the word series was even being played. Nice slice of life piece today, James. Totally enjoyed!

Hi Jim. I was big on the Yankees as well. Mantle and Maris ruled. The day revolved around game time. Glad you enjoyed, thank you!

I try to engage with surveys if I have something to say but I sure am tired of getting a "two minute survey" everytime I walk into a Target that hasn't changed since the last time I was there.

Hi Natalie! I know right? For me it's the guys at the local CVS. They are unrelenting. : )
