What an interesting trip you had -- memories of atomic bombing, caves, temples, and even zealous customs agents awaiting you upon return. Have you also had some culinary adventures as well while in Japan?
Hi, Jim. Thank you. I've never had the taste for seafood, especially raw. So no real culinary delights for me in Japan. I missed out but Shino remembers me warming up to fried oysters and squid. I don't remember that. Years ago I got very sick just trying fried clams. Red tide was suspected. I like codfish. I ate some abalone fresh caught and cooked on the beach that was delicious, just about the best thing I've ever tasted.
Wowie! You two must have been both thrilled and exhausted. That is a lot of sight-seeing in such a short time. I know virtually nothing about Japan, so this travelog was very welcome. But.... wait a minute...Buddist hell? Really? I have to look into that. I had no idea. Thanks for this post Ron!
It was a tiring trip. We had too much on our plate. I'd never heard of Buddhist Hell - for committing one of the Five sins of Buddhism, either. Thank you, Sharron.
Thank you for sharing a great trip. The description of your visit to Hiroshima is very sobering and timely for current playing chicken by nuclear powers.

I am definitely looking into that!
Thanks for sharing this adventure with us. Really makes me want to go.
Hi Jim. Now is a good time to go. Dollars are up in exchange for yen. Thank you.
Beautiful.🌈🌈🌈
Thank you, Mr. Ma.
Any chance that you have pictures that we could see?
I have a few pictures but can't find the ones I've been looking for. I'll see if any I have are post worthy. : ) Thanks.

Thank you, Barry. I do hope that all leaders concerned are fully aware of what the bomb can do and lead to.
Maybe it's a gross thing to say, but I think those two bombs at least have the positive effect of removing all doubt about what those bombs can do.
I hope the lessons learned re the bombs affects have not lessened over time.
