Hello Switter. That's neat. As often as I've been by the mine I've never been in it. It's not open at the time I go by as we head up to the hills to prospect. Have been there once and walked the grounds as I could. One of these days. Are you in Norther California? We go up towards Downieville often from the Bay Area.
I’ve visited the Empire Mine a few times. My favorite place there is the owner’s house with beautiful redwood paneled ceilings and walls. It is good to be king.
