Thanks James. You sure remember a lot of detail. As I mentioned earlier, I worked briefly on an exploratory rig, but I don't remember much except it was fun. Good story, thanks again!

Really enjoyed this intimate and relatable peek into the daily drama of living and working on an oil rig, fascinating for someone who's never seen one, let alone set foot on one. There's even billiards and ping pong on those metal islands!

Hi Jim! Thank you. It is very much a home away from home with all the necessities. It was something new to me. Was glad I got to see it. Take care.

Wow! I learned a lot here, James. Very interesting story. Now... the story of you and Amy? I hope that will be coming up.

It was something different for me, that's for sure. The rest of the story about me and Amy? What if it wasn't a happy ending?

Well, you write about life, James. Life sure isn't always happily ever after. Might be something to think about anyway...

I know. I'll think about it. : )Thanks, Sharron.

Good job James. I worked night shift so that resonated with me. Loved the line "I was up bright and early at 10 pm and had another breakfast."

I also liked the links to more information about the oil rigs.

Thank you, Scott! I've worked night shifts a few times. Never could get used to it. I found the oil rigs fascinating.
